AT&T & the Iphone

I spent three hours today dealing with porting my number over to AT&T.  I'm not going to go into specifics, but it's a sloppy process that I think Apple and ATT need to work out.  

While everyone I spoke to on both ends were very nice and sort of helpful, nobody knew exactly what was going on or what to do... in the end I had to sort it all out myself (which is fine to an extent), but someone somewhere should know what the hell is goin on better than I do...

So for now, I have a temporary number, my real number is on hold, and my old phone which thankfully still works just fine.   

Next time I'm skipping the Apple store and just goin to the mobile shop.
